Everyone's situation is different
Sometimes you need a little extra help for a few days. Sometimes you need somewhere safe and supportive to stay. Sometimes you simply need someone experienced, practical and compassionate beside you while life gets back on track.
At Dawns Care SW, support is built around you, your routines, your circumstances and what matters most to you.
No one-size-fits-all approach. Just practical, flexible, respectful support built around real life.
I'm Dawn, an experienced care and support professional with more than 30 years' experience across nursing, disability services, aged care and care coordination.
Originally from England, I trained and worked as a registered nurse before moving to Australia, and I've called Bunbury home since 2005.
Dawns Care SW is my independent sole-trader business, so the person you speak to is the person who provides your support.
Good support starts with getting to know you — routines, preferences, priorities and what matters the most. I take the time to listen, understand how you like things done and provide assistance in a way that feels comfortable and natural, while respecting your dignity, choices and individuality.
Outside of work, I'm a mum of two adult daughters and enjoy gardening, birdwatching, tackling the occasional DIY project and spending time at home with my cat, Clarabelle.
I value humour, good conversation and genuine connection, and I bring that same down-to-earth approach to the service I provide.
